Back in 1996 I was bored of the gym, and wanted to exercise without feeling like I was exercising - do you know what I mean?
So I joined a belly dance class just to see what it was like and loved it!
I've performed as a soloist, in a duo and also in a group. I used to dance in a Moroccan restaurant and have performed at lots of charity events.
Now I'd like to use fun and easy teaching methods to help you learn belly dance techniques that help improve body confidence, stamina and strength.

Belly Dance Heaven is fully inclusive and welcomes individuals from all areas of our community.
Our purpose is to share this beautiful and fun way to exercise.
Belly dancing is one of the best low impact exercises meaning most people can do it.
Our student age ranges from
13 to 82 years!
Hip scarves, coin belts and veils are provided free of charge.

No, not if you don't want to (I don't!)
Comfortable clothes are best. Leggings or a floaty skirt work well. Belly Dance Heaven can provide a hip scarf or coin belt for your first lesson. A bottle of water is always useful and a small towel or flannel in case you get hot! We usually dance barefoot or in ballet pumps. No trainers please.
Under 18's may join with an adult. Age range is 13 to 86 years!
There are no height or weight restrictions. If you have concerns about your health, please speak to your GP before joining a class.
